Here is the poster for the final concert of the Holy Rosary Arts & Education Center’s 2011 Summer Concert Series. Carl Donakowski will perform a repeat of his highly successful concert performed at the Kennedy Center in Washington DC, joined by pianist Zhihua Tang, Winner of the Chicago Chopin competition.

Tickets are $15 for Adults and $5 for Students in Advance and $20 for Adults and $10 for Students at the Door. Advance purchase is suggested as seating is limited. Tickets can be purchased by calling 231-228-5429. You can print a poster to share here.

The Louis & Magdalene Donakowski “Sala Koncertowa”, features live acoustics with modern seating and air conditioned comfort in a classic, intimate setting.

Saturday, July 9, 8 pm: THE ARCOS TRIO. Back by popular demand, three international concert artists– Seunghee Lee, violin; Carl Donakowski, cello; and Anthony Padilla at the restored Everett grand piano—play American& modern music.

Saturday, July 23, 8 pm: “A MOMENT OF GRACE,” Monica Duffy, exquisite singer and songwriter, of Ann Arbor and Philadelphia, presents folk and sacred music of diverse styles and instruments.

Saturday, August 13, 8 pm: “A POET OF THE CELLO,” Carl Donakowski, repeats his highly successful concert of last Spring at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington DC, accompanied by Zhihua Tang from Hong Kong& CMU, winner of the Chicago Chopin competition.

Have fun finding out at “Loves’ Old Sweet Songs: Laughter and Tears from Bygone Years.” This program of Victorian parlor favorites has charmed audiences in American and England. Judith Wharton, known for her rendition of all styles from Baroque to Broadway, sings; Conrad Donakowski accompanies on the Everett Grand Piano; and “Mr. Interlocutor” Jeremy Mattson spins yarns about art from the Heartland. Come with your family and friends Saturday, September 4th at 7:30 pm to the newly created auditorium in century-old Holy Rosary School on Schomberg Road, 2 1/2 miles north of Cedar. Join Our Choirs

We are looking for people to join our choirs. High school students and adults are welcome. Both men and women. If you can carry a tune, we need you!

All choir members, cantors and men’s choir will meet with Dr Donakowski after mass This Sunday June 7 and set up times for sessions to follow.

There is a choir/musician questionnaire that we would ask you to fill out.

Instrumental musicians with high school competency are also encouraged to participate.

We hope to begin a group to play on special occasions.
